Chittagong was shaken by the earthquake

Chittagong was shaken by a mild earthquake. The earthquake was felt at 10:46 pm on Saturday (April 20).

According to earthquake monitoring website Volcano Discovery, the magnitude of the earthquake was 3.7. The depth of the earthquake was 10 km. The epicenter of the earthquake is 43 km north in Kaptai upazila of Rangamati district.

No casualty or damage was reported till 12:30 on Saturday night. But there is panic among the locals. Many came down the streets as they felt the earthquake.
