It has been alleged that a person named Parvez Khan (20) was shot dead in a clash between two groups of Awami League over dominance in Chhota Mollakandi area of ​​Charkewar Union of Munshiganj. At least 5 people were injured in that incident, including one more shot. The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday (April 13).

According to local sources, the deceased Parvez Khan was an Awami League worker. Sources at Munshiganj General Hospital said that he died on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital due to excessive blood loss. The other bullet victim Mohammad Rabbi was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment after first treatment at Munshiganj General Hospital. The injured were treated at Munshiganj General Hospital.

According to police and witnesses, there was a long-standing dispute between the Ahmed and Mamun groups in the area over local supremacy. Both groups are involved in Awami League politics. Ahmed group people attacked the house of Mamun group people early on Saturday morning. At this time the conflict started between the two sides. During the clash, at least 6 people were injured including two shot.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Munshiganj Sadar Police Station Aminul Islam said that the police were sent to the spot after receiving information about the clash. Visit the scene. The situation is calm now. Two people were shot in this incident. Among them, I heard that Parvez Khan died on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

He also said that both groups are involved in Awami League politics. Ahmed Group is a follower of current Member of Parliament Mohammad Faisal Biplab and Mamun Group is a follower of former Member of Parliament Advocate Mrinal Kanti Das. The deceased Parvez is a follower of current MP Mohammad Faisal Biplablab.
