Crying on remand, broken eyelids!

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) is interrogating five VIP accused on remand after the fall of the Awami League government in the students' movement. Among them, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's private industry and investment advisor Salman F Rahman,
Former Law Minister Anisul Haque, former Deputy Speaker Shamsul Haque Tuku and former Minister of State for Information and Technology Junaid Ahmedpalak have been remanded for 10 days. They were remanded after their arrest in two separate murder cases of Newmarket and Paltan police stations of the capital.
Meanwhile, former Minister of State for Information and Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak is the most broken among the VIP accused since being remanded.
According to Dhaka Metropolitan Police sources, the cases are still under investigation by the Thana Police. However, they have been kept in the Minto Road detective office as VIP accused. There, the senior officials of DMP along with the investigation officer are interrogating them.
Meanwhile, a source related to the investigation said that Junaid Ahmed Palak is the most broken among the VIP accused. He has been crying most of the time since his arrest. He could not have imagined that the government could fall so quickly.
Although he also admitted to sending his wife and children abroad a day ago. According to Palak, he could have fled the country if he wanted. However, he did not go with Sheikh Hasina saying 'dishonesty will be done'.
During interrogation, Palak also denied his responsibility for the internet shutdown. According to him, even though he was the state minister, he had no sole decision to shut down the internet.
At that time, Palak said that he took the decision to shut down the internet following the instructions of former army officer Ziaul Ahsan, head of the intelligence agency and director general of NTMC. Besides, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was in favor of internet shutdown.
