Former Chhatra League leader Abdullah Al Masood died in a thrashing due to the attack on the students' movement. He died in Ward No. 31 of Rajshahi Medical College (Ramek) Hospital at around 12:15 pm on Saturday (September 7) afternoon after being beaten up.
In this regard, Boalia Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Masood Parvez said, Abdullah Al Masood was beaten in Binodpur. Then a group of students took him first to Motihar and then to Boalia police station. He was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. He died there.
He said that the body of the deceased is in the morgue of Rajshahi Medical College (Ramek) Hospital. After taking legal action, the body will be handed over to the family.
