The Officer-in-Charge (OC) and ASI of Gazipur Metropolitan Police Gacha Police Station were beaten up for demanding money from the family of Bangabandhu's gunman.

It has been revealed that for a long time the family of Mohammad Islam, the gunman and bodyguard of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman died, has been living in Badsha Mia School Road area of Gacha police station in Gazipur metropolis. The son of Bangabandhu's bodyguard Mohammad Islam bought 8 percent land from Abdul Mannan of Mogarkhal area of the city for 25 lakh taka 5 months ago. A. Jalil Out of Tk 25 lakh, he got Tk 9 and a half lakh cash for that land and completed the land registry work, leaving the remaining Tk 15 lakh and 50 thousand. It was said that after 2 to 3 months, the remaining 15 lakh 50 thousand taka will be paid. But Md. A. Although Jalil was supposed to pay the money by selling another land, he was unable to sell the land and could not pay the rest of the land on time. Abdul Mannan sent a lawyer notice to the land seller about this. In the second week of this month, land seller Abdul Mannan Gacha police station. A. Filed a complaint against Jalil.
Md. A. Jalil said Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Al Amin of Gacha police station went to their house at around 10:30 am on March 11 to investigate the complaint. After going home, ASI Al Amin got mad and started looking for him. As he was in the bathroom at that time, his son came forward to speak to the police and was badly treated. Later, when he came out, he was also abused and abused. Later, during a discussion between them, ASI Al Amin demanded 25 thousand rupees from him. He said that he will take a few months from the land seller if he gives money. But for refusing to pay I was treated worse.
He further said, I was taken to Gacha police station. On the ground floor of Gacha police station, women and children were made to sit on the help desk and I was abused. At one point, ASI Al Amin raised his hands on me.
When the matter was immediately reported to the officer-in-charge (OC) of the police station, Shah Alam, he asked him to pay the creditor's money quickly without taking any remedy. The next day, on March 12, the businessman said. A. Jalil complained verbally and later in writing to Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mahabub Alam.
Businessman md. A. Jalil said, I filed a complaint with the police commissioner with confidence. He judged it right. I don't want more than that.
Gazipur Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner (Media) Mohammad Nazir Ahmed said that the OC and ASI of Gacha police station have been sent to the police line.
