Dengue outbreak is increasing, 3 more people died

Aedes mosquito-borne disease dengue has started increasing in the country. Three people have died of dengue in the last 24 hours. 95 people died of dengue this year.

In the last seven days, 12 people died of dengue and 2,366 people were admitted to the hospital.

Meanwhile, 403 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 15 thousand 207 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital this year. 61.3 percent of them are men and 38.7 percent are women.

This information was informed in a press release about dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Saturday (September 7).

It said that among the new admissions in the hospital, 92 people were in Chittagong Division (outside City Corporation), 36 in Dhaka Division (outside City Corporation), 117 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 135 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 15 in Khulna Division (outside City Corporation). John and Mymensingh divisions (outside City Corporation) have eight.

In the last 24 hours, 252 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country. 13 thousand 603 people have received clearance in this year.

From January 1 to December 31 last year, 1,705 people died of dengue. And 3 lakh 21 thousand 179 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital.
