Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that there will be an operation in Rafah whether there is an agreement or not. This information is known in a report of the British media BBC.
Netanyahu said Israel had begun evacuating civilians from the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah to begin a ground operation, and that fighting would continue even after the IDF withdrew most of its forces from the Palestinian enclave. Armistice agreements do not matter.
He said, we are continuing the war. We have started evacuating civilians from Rafah and the offensive will begin soon. We will not surrender to Hamas. I am fighting international pressure including the US. I will leave Gaza only after killing Hamas.
Netanyahu said, the objective of the war against Hamas has not changed. Eliminating Hamas and freeing the hostages is Tel Aviv's main goal. Hostage family members supported his efforts and expressed optimism about the Israeli operation after meeting with him.
Notably, Israel launched its offensive in Gaza on October 7 after an attack led by the liberation group Hamas in southern Israel, in which Israel said 1,200 people were killed and 253 were taken hostage.
According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, over 34,000 Palestinians have been killed and most of the population displaced as a result of the Israeli offensive.
