Discussion meeting on fraud prevention and future expectations in July

Jatrabari July Martyrs Family and Anti-Aggression Movement jointly organized a discussion meeting titled “July Impostor Prevention and Future Expectations”. Today, March 14, 2026 (Saturday), this discussion meeting was organized at Tofazzal Hossain Manik Mia Hall of the National Press Club of Dhaka.

Family members of July movement martyrs, representatives of various social and political organizations and media workers were present in the event. Jatrabari July Martyrs Family Coordinator Martyr Rabbi's sister Mim Akhter, Public Relations Adviser Sadhana Mahal, Martyr Masood's wife, Martyr Sohan's mother, Martyr Miraj's father, Martyr Jisan's mother, Acting Convenor of Anti-Aggression Movement Tarek Aziz, Member Secretary Alamin Atiya, Legal Wing Chief Abdul Aziz, and various other people related to the July Movement spoke at the meeting. The speakers remembered the martyrs of the July movement, demanded justice for their families, called on the government to take a tough stance against fraud and raised important views on what to do next. The irreparable loss to the families of the martyrs of the July Movement cannot be ignored. Still, they presented four opinions or demands to the journalists.

1. The graves of the martyrs should be marked and paved.

2. The list of July warriors will have to be re-checked.

3. Every July the family has to be resettled.

4. Every July the family has to give savings certificate of 5 crores.

The program was conducted by Sadhana Mahal, Public Relations Advisor, Jatrabari Juli Shaheed Parivar. At that time, they said, “Who killed the grave money of martyrs in July 1400, it needs to be looked into and a fair investigation should be done.” At the end of the event, they called for the full implementation of the July Charter.
