Chittagong University (CHBI) student killed in anti-discrimination movement. A special prayer ceremony was held in memory of Farhad Hossain. On Monday (August 19) at 6 pm at Chittagong University Central Mosque, a prayer ceremony was organized by the initiative of 'Chabian Dini Parivar' to pray for the forgiveness of his soul.

The deceased Farhad Chabir was a student of history department in the academic year 2021-22. On August 4, he was killed in an armed attack by Awami League leaders while taking part in an anti-discrimination student movement in his district Magura.

Abdur Rahman, a student of the 2021-22 session of the Islamic Studies Department, said, 'We got this freedom today in exchange for the blood of martyrs. Had Shahid Farhad Bhai been alive, he would have participated in Chabian Deeni Parivar program today. We have appeared today with a lot of trouble. I will pray for my brother from the bottom of my heart.

Farhad's classmate Riyad Ahmed said, he was a brilliant and humble boy. His CGPA was 3.67 in first year. He prayed five times. We will not let his blood go in vain.
