Dr. Congratulations to Yunus from the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation

The chief advisor of the country's interim government, Professor Dr. Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation congratulates Muhammad Yunus.

A congratulatory message from the foundation sent to Professor Yunus recently said, We on behalf of the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation extend our sincere congratulations to your interim government and the people of Bangladesh.

The recent political unrest in Bangladesh is a clear manifestation of the country's people's desire for an inclusive, corruption-free and democratic government.

President Ramon Magsaysay asserted, 'I believe that the government moves from low to better for the welfare of the people of the country, because the welfare of the people is the job of the government. I believe, the supreme leader of the state should have qualities like a big heart, honest mind, healthy instincts, patient protective qualities and setting an example of loyal love towards the common people.'

“May this new chapter in your country's history be marked not by uncertainty or inequality, but by stability and leadership that upholds the fundamental rights of the common man, not a few special groups,” the message added.

It should be noted that Dr. Yunus received the 1984 Ramon Magsaysay Award.
