A car in the convoy of anti-discrimination student movement convener Hasnat Abdullah and Sarjis Alam met with an accident. The front part of the car was twisted.

The accident took place on Wednesday (November 27) evening at Haji Street intersection of Chunti Union on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway.

ASI Alim in charge of Lohagara police station confirmed the matter and said that a truck has been seized in this incident. GD is in progress. But he could not tell how this accident happened.

Meanwhile, Hannan Masud, the main organizer of the anti-discrimination student movement, uploaded a photo of the broken car on Facebook.

In the post, he wrote, on the way back from visiting the grave of martyred advocate Saiful Islam Alif Bhai, at approximately 7.30 in the evening, at Haji Street intersection of Chunti Union on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway, an attempt was made to kill anti-discrimination student movement convener Hasnat Abdullah and Sargis Alam.

In the initial investigation, the driver said that he had unloaded the goods from Mymensingh to Cox's Bazar, but no information was found about the goods being unloaded. There are precedents of killing many top personalities of Bangladesh by Indians in the past.
