Eid prayers at 3 places in Feni in accordance with Saudi

Eid-ul-Azha prayers were held at three places in Feni on Sunday (June 16) in coordination with Saudi Arabia. In the morning, many worshipers offered prayers in two neighborhoods of East Sultanpur Ward No. 7 of Sadar Upazila Farhadnagar Union and Kolapara area of ​​Parashuram Municipality.

In this regard, Farhadnagar Union Parishad Chairman Mosharraf Hossain Tipu said that some people offered Eid-ul-Azhar prayers in two neighborhoods in Sultanpur east of the union along with Saudis. Maulana Mohammad Ghulam of East Sultanpur Shah Amania Jahagiria Durbar Sharif led the Eid prayers. When the moon is seen in any part of the world, they observe all religious rituals including fasting, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha.

At the same time another part of the village led by Muhammad Sultan Mahmud, son of late Maulana Gholam Kibria Pirmia of East Sultanpur Rashidiya Darbar Sharif, offered Eid prayers in another congregation.

On this day, many people offered Eid-ul-Azhar prayers at a place in the Shigharia area of ​​Kolapara in the upazila of Parshuram town bordering the district.

Rashedul Islam, a local resident, said that for a long time, Pir's followers have been celebrating Eid together with Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. However, the main Eid congregation in the area will be held tomorrow.

In this regard, Parshuram Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahadat Hossain said that some people followed Saudi Arabia and offered Eid prayers. They have been following this rule for a long time. Even today, peacefully after the Eid congregation, they performed other rituals including animal sacrifice in the name of the great creator.
