Fakhrul's signature in condolence book on Raisi's death

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has signed the condolence book on the death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi. He went to the Iranian embassy in Dhaka today and signed the condolence book.

Meanwhile, Mirza Fakhrul said, “We are deeply saddened by the death of the popular president, foreign minister and high-ranking officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the accident.”

He said, the world needs experienced politicians at the moment. At that time, I think it is very shocking that a wise, experienced, popular leader like Ibrahim Raisi suddenly left. On behalf of BNP, I offer my deepest condolences to the people of Iran, the government, the family and relatives of President Raisi, the family and relatives of the Foreign Minister. May they bear this grief. During this time of mourning, I pray that the people of Iran can continue their stability, their contribution to world politics, their role in the state.

On May 19, a tragic helicopter crash near Zolfa area in Iran's East Azerbaijan Province killed the President of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and several high-ranking officials of Iran.
