Farooq Ahmed is the new president of BCB

Farooq Ahmed has become the new president of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Meanwhile, Nazmul Hasan Papon resigned in the meeting of BCB Board of Directors held at the conference room of Ministry of Youth and Sports today. He sat in this seat after the nomination of the president in 2012 and the election of 2013.

For the past few days there was buzz in the sports arena that former Tiger captain Farooq Ahmed may replace Papon. With Papon's official resignation today, Wednesday (August 21), those rumors have come true.

After the interim government assumed responsibility in the country, there is a massive reshuffle in various ministries, departments and directorates. This time there was a change in the top positions of BCB, the country's highest cricket control body.
