An Iftar mahfil was held at a restaurant in the capital on Saturday (March 23) evening, organized by Feni ist Forum, Dhaka, in honor of the dignitaries.
President of the forum Faiz Ullah Bhuiya and moderated by general secretary Aditya Arafat, former information adviser to the prime minister and editor of Daily Observer Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, former chairman of Bangladesh University Grants Commission and former vice chancellor of Dhaka University were the honored guests. The guests thanked the Feni ists Forum for the beautiful arrangement. An open discussion was held at the end of the Iftar. The speakers said that the contribution of Feni's children ABM Musa, Abdus Salam, Obaidul Haque, Zahur Hossain, Mahbubul Haque, Gias Kamal Chowdhury in journalism in the Indian subcontinent should be remembered with respect.
