Hafez Anas is the world champion in Quran competition again


Hafez Anas Bin Atiq, a student of Markazut Tahfiz International Madrasah in the capital, has once again become the champion in the International Quran Competition. He won the first place in the 32nd International Qur'an Competition held in Cairo, Egypt, beating participants from 70 countries around the world. The results were announced on Wednesday (December 10) at 10 pm Bangladesh time.

The master of Hafez Anas, Hafez Neshar Ahmad An Nashiri, confirmed this information to the media and said that the four-day competition started last Saturday (December 7). Since the inauguration, Anas has passed with competitors from different countries and finally won the top spot.

At the national level, he got the opportunity to participate in the international event by being the first in the qualifying round held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque under the supervision of Bangladesh Islamic Foundation.

Earlier, Anas won the international Quran competition held in Saudi Arabia and Libya. The house of this three-time world champion is in Lopara village of Chunta Union of Sarail Upazila of Brahmanbaria.

Madrasah authorities said that he will be welcomed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport next Friday (December 11) at 9 am.
