Three upazilas north of Feni, Phulgazi, Parashuram and Chagalnaya, were affected by the worst floods in history.

The water of Muhuri, Kahua and Ceylonia rivers is flowing over 100 cm above the danger level. Two lakh people of more than 150 villages in three upazilas are looking for safe shelter.
Roads and houses were not spared from the flood. The heavy rains of the last three days and landslides from upstream India have created a humanitarian disaster.
It can be seen that more than 40 villages of Sadar Union, Anandpur, Munsirhat, Amjadhat Union of Fulgazi Upazila have been flooded. More than 45 villages including Mirzanagar, Chithlia, Buxmahmud and Pursharam in Parashuram are under water.
Several villages of Pathan Nagar, Radhanagar, Shubopur Union of Chagalnaya have also been affected by floods. Roads, ponds and crop lands have been submerged in these areas. In some areas, the water has touched the roofs of people's houses and tin rice. Locals are looking for shelter.
Meanwhile, the local administration and various voluntary organizations have entered the field with relief assistance for the flood victims. Army and BGB have already reached the ground with speed boats and boats to rescue the victims.
So far 1 person has been killed and 1 person is missing in Ban water.
At the beginning of last month, Muhuri, Kahua and Ceylonia rivers broke in 15 places. More than 100 villages were flooded after the dam broke at 12 more places earlier this month after the repair of the dam at those places. Where the damage to infrastructure, rice, crops and fish exceeds 30 crores.
After 15 days, the flood happened again. The residents of Phulghazi, Parashuram and Chagalnaya of Feni bordering have become disoriented. Concerned people think that the amount of damage due to this flood will exceed several crores of rupees.
This phase and the previous two phases have caused erosion in 27 places of the dam. Water is seeping through all these erosions.
Feni Deputy Commissioner Selina Akhter said that the army, BGB are working to rescue the flood victims. District and upazila administrations are also in the field. Dry food has already been distributed to more than 2 thousand families.
The district and upazila administrations have opened shelter centers in various schools and educational institutions of the three flood-affected upazilas.
