Hotel employee killed by stabbing in Cox's Bazar

An employee of Best Western Heritage Hotel was killed by a miscreant in Cox's Bazar Sadar. He was killed on Sunday (June 9) around 7:30 pm at Belly Hatchery Point, Kalatali Beach.

The deceased Nurul Quader (23) is the son of Ibrahim, a resident of Baraitali Union of Chakaria Upazila.

Chef Assistant Mohammad Badsha said, Nurul Quader and two colleagues went to the beach in the evening after finishing work at the hotel. Meanwhile, the robbers miscreants tried to take Nurul Quader's mobile phone. There is a fight between them. At one point, the miscreants stabbed Nurul Quader and fled. He was rescued and taken to hospital. The doctor on duty there declared Nurul Quader dead.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station. Rockibuzzaman said that the police were sent to the spot after receiving the information. Details will be known when they return.
