I do not support Jamaat politics: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, I do not support Jamaat's politics. But their organizational structure is very scientific. Self study and pass the exam. He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at a discussion meeting of the National Press Club in Dhaka on Sunday (June 2).

Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF) organized this discussion on the 43rd death anniversary of BNP founder and former president Ziaur Rahman.

Fakhrul said, the ruling government is not patriotic, they are bargi. That's why the country's money is looted and taken abroad. The rulers today are mired in corruption. The nation is now divided by dilemma. Ziaur Rahman himself did not enter politics. He was brought. Seeing his leadership during the Great Liberation War in 71, the soldiers gave him responsibility again in 75.

He said, if you open the newspaper today, there is only news of looting and looting. Who is looting? Those who are big bosses. What did the army chief, the former IG of police do? How many gentlemen will you find in Parliament? Bangladesh bank is looting. The reserve dollar is looting. Rathi Maharathis are looting in the stock market. They are such big people that you can't go next to them. Some dervish, some mafia, some master. Today, 150 loads of gold have disappeared from Islami Bank in Chittagong. There is no accountability anywhere.

BNP Secretary General said, Ziaur Rahman's foreign policy should be surprising. He transformed the country from a bottomless basket to a prosperous Bangladesh. After coming to power, he took initiatives to consolidate the country's democratic institutions. He discussed with all the political parties. He was a patriot. That is why all political parties trusted him. The Communist Party and Mozaffar Saheb's NAP supported Ziaur Rahman's 19 points.
