Calling upon the media to speed up the initiative of the interim government by publishing news independently, the Chief Advisor said, we want everyone's help in the effective reform of various institutions of the state.
He also said that the movement of students has created a great opportunity to take the country to a new height by repairing the state Therefore, if there is a mistake in the government's activities, it should be highlighted in the media.

He said, in the discussion, we want a national unity to be established in Bangladesh. We have said that we expect many important reforms from this government. Among those reforms are constitutional changes, strengthening local governments, reforming autonomous bodies—the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Human Rights Commission, the Election Commission into truly people-oriented bodies, and especially the Election Commission so that all elections in the future truly reflect the thoughts of the nation and the voters, such a body. want We want such an anti-corruption commission, they should work independently.
Mahfuz Anam also said, I said another thing, buses, BTV and radio, that they should be given autonomy under the control of the government. May they fulfill their responsibilities professionally.
Stating that the black law for media production has been repealed, he said, 'Digital Security Act, Cyber Security Act, such laws, at this moment it should be announced that the clauses in these laws to oppress journalists will not be effective and they will reform it. There is also a proposal that if the chief adviser thinks that constitutional reform, by making a group or a committee for this, all kinds of changes in laws, independence of judiciary, police reform, all these can be done by a group or in different ways. In other words, we want to change these, we want democratic reform.
Dr. Mahfuz Anam said that Yunus fully believes in independent journalism. Yunus told reporters that he fully believes in independent journalism and his special appeal to us is that we can establish national consensus through our writings. He eagerly accepted our various suggestions and urged us to point out the mistakes in all aspects of the administration of this government. It is very important. He said, if there is any mistake of this government, we should feel free to print it in paper and help this government. He said, 'I personally feel that he really wants a vibrant media. Mahfuz Anam said, 'He asked us how long the interim government will be. Many people have given opinions about it at different times. But the main thing that is coming, that is the agenda of this government? Time in that ratio. Many political parties say as long as you need, some political parties say reasonable time, these are vague. He wants us to discuss them in detail through newspapers and television and give him an idea of what the nation wants, how many years may be two-three-five years.
