The Health Services Department has issued instructions to take strict legal action against those involved in medical negligence. On Sunday (August 18), the Health Care Department issued instructions in this regard.
It has been said that the government has announced to bear the cost of treatment of injured and admitted patients in the anti-discrimination student movement. However, there are reports of taking money against the National Orthopedic Hospital and Rehabilitation Institute (NITOR) for this service. All concerned have been asked to refrain from this activity.
The directive also states that representatives of pharmaceutical companies or dealers of various companies will not be allowed to enter the hospital. Every doctor must strictly follow the patient visiting schedule, no visitor can enter inside the hospital and patient's room except during appointment.
At the same time, strict legal action will be taken against those concerned if they fail to comply with this order. It has also been informed that this directive will be applicable to all hospitals in the country.
