In Nabiganj, 4 families are out of the village, accused of obstructing Eid celebrations

There are 3 families in Nabiganj upazila of Habiganj. Local influential Abdul Hadi and his men have been accused of threatening not to celebrate Eid at the upcoming Eid -ul -Azha.

The families of the victims complain that for the past six months, Abdul Hadi and her men have been attacking them, arson, vandalism and looting. Even their crops have been damaged. Family members have been beaten by a weapons trial and the village has been dismissed.

According to the families of the victims, they could not return home during the last Eid al -Fitr. Abdul Hadi and his men are threatening their lives when they try to return home on the occasion of the upcoming Eid -ul -Azha.

On May 22, the family of the victims filed a written complaint along with the Superintendent of Police in Habiganj. According to the complaint, the accused are more enraged after the complaint is being made to kill them.

In this connection, on May 7, Abdul Hadi and his men attacked Nobel Mia with a domestic weapon in the Nabiganj new market in front of Shayn Telecom. They wound the Noble and took two lakh rupees kept for buying cows. Nobel's brother Belal Mia filed a written complaint with the Nabiganj police station.

The victims complained that the police were not taking any action against the accused despite having multiple cases. As a result, the accused continued to persecute one after another.

Officer -in -charge of Nabiganj Police Station (OC) Kamruzzaman said he was trying to discuss the matter with both sides.
