Storm and hail are happening together in the capital. A tree fell on the road in Kakrail in the storm. On the other hand, the wall of a half-built house collapsed in Mohammadpur. Multiple fire service teams reached the spot in these two areas.

In this regard, the duty officer in the control room of the fire service, Rafi Al Farooq, said that a tree fell on the road in Kakrail due to the storm. This news came to us after 10:50 PM. A team of us went to Kakrail to work.
He said, besides, the wall of a half-baked house collapsed in Mohammadpur area of the capital. A team of us is also going to work there.
Earlier, in the weather forecast for the next 72 hours from 6 pm, the Meteorological Department said, the extension of low pressure is extending from West Bengal through southwest Bangladesh to northwest Bay of Bengal. Due to its effect, there will be rain or thunder in most parts of the country. And the regions over which the heat waves are flowing will also be mitigated.
The forecast also said that most places of Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, many places of Dhaka and Chittagong divisions and some places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience temporary gusty winds, rain with gusty winds, rain with thunder. Along with that, there may be scattered rain of hail at some places.
Besides, mild to moderate heat wave is flowing over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions, it may subside in most places. As a result, day and night temperatures across the country may drop by 1-3 degrees Celsius. It has also been reported that the trend of rain or thundershowers may continue during the extended five-day period.
