Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) president Khandkar Rafiqul Islam said joint operation of army, police and industrial police will be conducted tonight in Savar, Ashulia, Gazipur for the security of garment industry.

He said that army, police, industrial police will conduct a joint operation on Monday night in Savar, Ashulia, Gazipur for the security of garment industry. RAB and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) will join the joint operation later if necessary.

Rafiqul Islam said that care should be taken to prevent labor dissatisfaction in the factories. Those who want to create unpleasant situations are not garment workers. If necessary, the decision to close the factory will be taken after discussing the situation.

Meanwhile, labor and employment adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan held a meeting with the labor representative of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), the apex organization of BGMEA and knit industry owners, at the secretariat in the afternoon.

After the meeting, Bangladesh Labor Federation General Secretary Shakeel Akhtar Chowdhury said that no movement can be made by damaging the factory.

And BAKMEA president. Hatem said, there was a discussion about the attack and disorder in the factory. Conspiratorial outsiders are trying to displease workers with unreasonable demands. The advisor has been informed about that.
