Jubo Dal leader said distribution of sweets, dirty culture in Dipu Moni's arrest

Former Social Welfare Minister Dr. On the news of Dipu Moni's arrest, there was an incident of distribution of sweets in Chandpur. Faisal Ahmed Bahar, organizing secretary of the district youth party, has commented that such work is a dirty culture outside of political etiquette of the overzealous.

He made such a comment on the social media Facebook on Tuesday (21 August) night. He also requested the party leaders and workers to refrain from such actions in the future.

Faisal Ahmed Bahar wrote on Facebook, 'I am also one of the persecuted BNP activists in Chandpur. I am also the main defendant in the latest case filed by Awami League. Our house was attacked and ransacked. Police, DB misbehaved with my family members in the name of house raid in the dark of night. Even saying that he will shoot me if he finds me.'

In the post, he also wrote, 'The raid is going on in the house where I took shelter. It still gives me goosebumps to think how I was saved. Let me say one thing, former minister Dr. Deepu Moni has done wrong. A case has been filed against him and he has been arrested. I want the law to punish him properly. But distributing sweets at different places and taking photos of him seems to me to be an unethical act of political zealots. Others will find our arrest sweet in the future. We should come out of this dirty culture.'
