We have reached the last Friday of the Holy Ramadan. The farewell Friday of the last decade of Ramadan and the last Friday is known as 'Jumatul Bidah' in the Muslim world. Allah Rabbul Alamin has appointed Jumu'ah as a special day for the believing servant and Ramadan as a special month. And if 'Juma' and 'Ramadan' are combined, then its double status is added. Among them, the last Juma or Farewell Juma is particularly important.
The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan is known as 'Jumatul Bidah' in our society. Although the term is not found in any direct or indirect narration of the Qur'an or Hadith. Still, its importance is not less as the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan and Juma combined together make the day infinitely glorious. So Jumatul Biday is a special activity of every believing Muslim. It is a matter of utmost interest for all Muslims to perform Friday prayers with the congregation in the mosque and to gain closeness to the Almighty God through special prayers and to present the desires of one's soul to the court of the Merciful Lord.
The month of Ramadan is a month of unlimited virtue and is a special gift of Allah Almighty to the Muhammadan Ummah. In a hadith narrated by Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA), Rasulullah (SAW) said, Surely your Lord said, Every deed of Bani Adam is increased ten to seven hundred times, but fasting is different (i.e. there is no limit to the reward of fasting).
For fasting is only for Me, and I myself will reward it. And surely the smell of a fasting person's mouth is dearer to Allah than mesh amber. If someone treats one of you like Jahel while he is fasting, he will say, I am a fasting person. (Bokhari, Hadith: 5927).
And about the importance of Friday, in a hadith narrated by Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A.), Rasulullah (SAW) said, “The best of the days that occur with the sunrise is Friday.” On this day Hazrat Adam (a.s.) was created and on this day he was admitted to Paradise and on this day he was sent to earth. And there is a time in this day, when a Muslim prays while praying, his prayer is definitely accepted. (Tirmidhi, Hadith: 491). Jumat al-Bida is very important as the last chance to accept the sure prayers of Friday while fasting in the month of Ramadan.
There are some Sunnah practices on Friday. For example (1) take a good bath with soap (2) wear new or better clothes (3) use perfume (4) walk to the mosque (5) enter the mosque first (6) be close to the imam Must sit in place. (7) Imam's sermon should be listened to attentively (8) Darood Sharif should be recited more and more (9) No one should be hurt, no useless work should be done.
A hadith was narrated from Hazrat Aws Ibn Aws As-Saqafi (RA). He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) say, “Whoever takes a good bath on Friday, walks first to the mosque, sits close to the Imam and listens attentively to the sermon, and does not do any vain thing, one year's prayer will be offered to him for every step he takes.” And the reward of fasting will be given. (Sunan Ibn Maza, Hadith: 1087).
According to history, on the last Friday of the month of Ramadan, Hazrat Sulaiman (A.S.) established the city of Jerusalem and established the first Qibla of Muslims, 'Masjid Al-Aqsa'. For this, every year Muslims around the world observe the last Friday of the month of Ramadan as 'Al Quds' day.
