Jute Minister left Dhaka for Saudi to perform Umrah


Textiles and Jute Minister Jahangir Kabir Nanak has traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform the holy Umrah with his family members.

He left Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Madinah, Saudi Arabia on Thursday (April 25) at four o'clock in the afternoon on Bangladesh Biman flight number BG-137.

The flight is scheduled to make a short stop at Chittagong and reach Medina tonight.

Apart from performing Umrah, the Minister of Textiles and Jute will also visit various religious places in Makkah and Madinah which are enshrined in the memory of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). He is scheduled to return home after performing the holy Umrah on May 4.
