Miscreants set fire to a car worth crores of rupees in Guimaras of Khagrachari. It is believed to be the car of former Minister of State for Hill Affairs Kujendra Lal Tripura. However, the mystery surrounding who set fire to this car is increasing. No one can give specific information.

According to local sources, the incident took place in the joint farm area of ​​Guimara upazila on Tuesday (August 20) night. The car was a VIP car from Khagrachari (Dhaka Metro-G-15-7630) coming towards Guimara Bazaar. When the vehicle reached the joint farm area of ​​the upazila, a group of miscreants on the way fired several rounds. At that time, two people including the driver in the car ran away for their lives. The miscreants then set fire to the car. However, there is no accurate information about the people who escaped from the car.

A source confirmed by looking at the car's number plate that the burnt car was registered in the name of former state minister Kujendra Lal Tripura. Another source says Kujendra Lal Tripura bought the car after the 12th National Assembly elections. It is a tax free vehicle.

Officer-in-charge of Guimara police station Mohammad Ariful Islam said, we immediately went to the spot after receiving the news that the car was on fire. An investigation is underway as to whose car it is. At the same time, the perpetrators of the incident are also being investigated.
