The Los Angeles Lakers dropped their season opener against their division rivals, the Golden State Warriors, on Tuesday night, 119-109. It was far from an ideal start for the Lakers, but they’ll look to flip the script on Friday when they host the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Lakers will look for their first win of the season against the 1-0 Timberwolves. Los Angeles will be relatively healthy entering the contest, including their second-year guard, Bronny James.

James, who was not on the injury report for Tuesday’s match, is also not on the injury report ahead of Friday’s match.
The players who will miss Friday’s contest are LeBron James, Adou Thiero and Maxi Kleber.
The 21-year-old James has been dealing with an ankle sprain that dates back to last week. He missed the last two preseason games for LA, but he was not listed on the injury report for Tuesday’s season opener.
Although that was the case, James did not play against the Warriors. He didn’t see the floor along with fellow second-year player Dalton Knecht. Knecht and James were notable players who did not see the floor, not playing due to a coach’s decision.
