Lobbying from far greater places to save criminals: Doreen

Mumtarin Ferdous Doreen, the daughter of parliamentarian Anwarul Azim Anar, who was the victim of murder in India, called that the investigation process should not be hindered by any lobbying pressure. He said, I have heard, lobbying is being done from many places to save the criminals. Efforts are being made to release them.

He said these things to reporters after meeting with Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan at the Secretariat on Wednesday (June 12) afternoon.

Explaining the reason for coming to the secretariat, Anna's daughter Doreen said, I actually came to the Home Minister so that my father's murder should be done properly. To demand that I be assured of a fair trial.

Regarding the detention of District Awami League General Secretary Saidul Karim Mintu, Mumtarin Ferdous said that the uncle was also taken to the DB for questioning. Of course they have some real evidence, I know it myself. Based on that evidence, he was taken in for questioning.

MP Anar's daughter said, I want to say that Gas Babu, who has been arrested, is not my father's opponent. He has no enmity with us. I have many questions. I met him at Bhanga last May 17, there was a transaction about giving money, which I heard in the news.

He also said, my point is, who is the provider of this money? Why did they do it? You see, before he was arrested, he had confessed to the police that three of his phones were missing. My question is how can a man lose three phones in the same day. Are these planned, he is not my father's enemy. I have repeatedly said who is doing these things. In fact, I want justice for this murder. I have demanded that my father's murder be prosecuted as per the law through a proper investigation.

However, the Home Minister has assured a fair trial, claiming that Mumtarin Ferdous Dorin said that no one will be exempted in this case. What comes in law, what is true, will be judged. I believe that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina does not give the criminals a discount.
