'Many laws will have to be changed to reform the state'

BNP organizational secretary and former deputy minister Asadul Habib Dulu said that the state needs reforms but for that many laws will have to be changed, which is difficult for this government. Still we have made 30 proposals including a bicameral parliamentary system.

He said these things in an exchange meeting with leaders of anti-discrimination student movement at Lalmonirhat on Saturday evening.

He also said that we have talked about the Law Commission. Awami League has ended the judicial department like the police force through partyization. The Chief Justice gave a party speech. For that reason, we have also proposed to form a commission in the judicial department. Everyone should come forward to reform the country. Freedom of expression should be given.

Leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement, including Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ullah and Superintendent of Police Saiful Islam, also spoke at the Zilla Parishad auditorium hall room.
