On the occasion of the one month anniversary of the fall of the dictatorial Sheikh Hasina government, the anti-discrimination student movement 'Shahidi March' will hold a program today Thursday (September 5) in memory of the martyrs in police firing.
This announcement was made at a press conference organized at Dhaka University (DU) Student-Teacher Auditorium (TSC) on Wednesday (September 4) afternoon. The tour program will start from Friday (September 6) in divisional and district towns across the country.
Coordinator Sarjis Alam said at the press conference, “We think this is the time to remember those who gave their chests in front of the bullets.” That's why we will hold martyrdom march across the country tomorrow on the occasion of the one month anniversary of the fall of Sheikh Hasina government. All the families of the martyrs are invited to participate in this. We want, tomorrow also, the mass tide of students will descend across the country. Martyr March will start from Raju Bhaskarya centrally at 3 pm.
He said, the blood stain has not dried yet. Still our brothers are moaning with scars on their bodies. Request to the media to document how our brothers were killed. Many people are asking us to march for victory. But until the new Bangladesh is being built, until the people get their rights back, it is not possible to hold a victory march.
Besides, Coordinator Abu Bakr Majumdar, Coordinator Hasnat Abdullah spoke at the press conference.
