It is known that on August 27, the President's office requested the list of names of Hindu joint-secretaries and officials of equal status or above working in Dhaka under the Ministry of Textiles and Jute as in the previous year. In this context, a letter in this regard was sent to various offices and organizations of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute. However, it did not mention the matter of seeking list for exchange of greetings under the office of the President. This creates confusion.

A revised press release from the Ministry of Textiles and Texts on Saturday (September 7) said that the letter was sent as an attachment to the letter from the President's office citing sources from the President's office, but the details of the letter did not mention the event to be held at Bangabhaban on the occasion of Sharidiya Durgotsava and Vijaya Dashami 2024 celebrations. .
