Muhammad Yunus is saddened by the death of 'close friend' Manmohan

Chief Adviser to Interim Government Muhammad Yunus has expressed deep grief and condolence over the death of former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The Chief Adviser expressed his sentiments in a condolence message sent to the Prime Minister of India and the President of the Indian National Congress.

Describing Manmohan Singh as a man of great modesty, a visionary leader and a statesman, the Chief Adviser said he was known for his unwavering commitment to ensure the welfare of the people of India.

The late prime minister will be remembered for his contribution to India's economic transformation, the chief adviser said.

He said, Dr. Singh's leadership not only shaped India's future but also contributed to strengthening the bonds of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Bangladesh and India.

Dr. in the development of regional cooperation. Highlighting Manmohan Singh's role, the Chief Adviser highlighted the vision of the late leader and his role and strong commitment in advancing regional peace, prosperity and South Asian cooperation.

He left the South Asian countries to develop the rich legacy of his thought and Dr. Manmohan Singh urged to work together to pay tribute.

In his condolence message, the Chief Adviser recalled his many cherished and precious memories with late Manmohan Singh.
