A case has been filed in the International Criminal Tribunal in the name of 500 anonymous people, mentioning the names of 28 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Rashed Khan Menon, Hasanul Haque Inus, in the murder of student Alvi in ​​Mirpur of the capital. Awami League and its subsidiary organizations have been accused as a party.

This complaint was made at the investigation office of the International Criminal Tribunal in Dhanmondi on Monday (August 19).

It has been said that during the period from July 15 to August 5, all the people who were killed in Bangladesh and those who were injured and later died have committed genocide and crimes against humanity according to Sections 3(2) and 4(1)(2) of the International Criminal Tribunal Act, 1973.

At this time, as the type of crime, it is said that under the instructions and plans of defendants No. 1 to 27, other defendants have committed the crime of organizing genocide and crimes against humanity by killing ordinary unarmed students protesting anti-discrimination by firing indiscriminately with domestic and foreign firearms with the aim of completely or partially exterminating them.

It also said that 28 people including former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Jasad) president Hasanul Haque Inu, Bangladesh Workers Party president Rashed Khan Menon and Jatiya Party-JP chairman Anwar Hossain Manju have been named and 500 other anonymous people in connection with the murder of student Alvi in ​​Mirpur. A case has been filed in the International Criminal Tribunal. Awami League and its subsidiary organizations have been accused as a party.

After the fall of Sheikh Hasina on August 5, 18 cases were filed against her; Out of which 17 cases have been charged with murder.

Sheikh Hasina fled the country to India after resigning from the post of Prime Minister on August 5 in the face of student protests. Since then, cases have been filed one after another against Awami League leaders and activists including Sheikh Hasina in various parts of the country in connection with the death of students in the movement.
