Murder case in the name of Shakib-Suman-Ferdous

A new case was registered at Adabar police station on Thursday (August 22) night. National team cricketer and former member of parliament Shakib Al Hasan, barrister Syed Sayedul Haque Sumon and former member of parliament actor Ferdous Ahmed have been made defendants in the case.

The names of 156 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and former Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader have been mentioned in this case. Also, 400-500 unidentified people have been accused in the case.

In the statement of the case, the plaintiff complained that on August 5, Rubel took part in a protest march on the ring road of Adabar. At that time, with the direct and indirect instruction, instigation, assistance, cooperation and direct help of the accused, someone fired at the procession. Rubel was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds to the chest and stomach and died on August 7.
