Narail and Khulna won gold on the second day of national junior wrestling

On the second day of the '28th National Junior (Boys and Girls) Wrestling Competition-2024' organized under the overall management of Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation, Narail District Sports Association won 3 gold medals and Khulna District Sports Association won 1 gold medal.

Captain M. Chaiti Sen of Narail district won gold in the women's 49 kg weight category held at the Mansoor Ali Handball Stadium. Pooja Das of Khulna got silver and Nikita Das of Dinajpur got bronze.

Mithila Sheikh of Narail district won the gold in 53 kg. Mim Akhter of Khulna got the silver and Jannat of Rangpur got the bronze. Shaila Khanam of Narail district won gold in 61 kg. Faimida of Rajshahi got silver and Maliha of Chapainawabganj got bronze.

Mohna Khatun of Khulna district won gold in 65 kg. Rangpur's Sadia Afrin got silver and Rajshahi's Rubina Akhter got bronze.

FM Iqbal Bin Anwar (Dawn), Senior Executive Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Plc enjoyed the sport of different weight classes today. At that time, Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation General Secretary Tabiur Rahman Palawan and Joint General Secretary Mesbah Uddin Azad and others.

Bangladesh Olympic Association Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza will be present as the chief guest and distribute the prizes to the winners tomorrow Thursday (May 30, 2024) at 4 pm on the final day of the competition.
