Narail is champion in both categories of National Junior Wrestling

Narail District Sports Association has achieved the honor of becoming the champion in both boys and girls categories of the '28th National Junior (Boys and Girls) Wrestling Competition-2024' organized under the overall management of Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation.

In the girls category, the girls of Narail district won a total of 7 medals including 5 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze. Runners-up Khulna district bagged 1 gold, 2 silver for a total of 3 medals. The Rajshahi district team, which came third, bagged a total of 4 medals including 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.

Narail district, champion in the boys category, got a total of 6 medals including 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze. Runners-up Dinajpur district got a total of 5 medals including 2 gold and 3 bronze. Jessore District, which came third, got a total of 3 medals including 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

Bangladesh Olympic Association Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza presented the prizes to the winners as the chief guest on Thursday afternoon. General Secretary of Volleyball Federation Ashikur Rahman Miku, General Secretary of Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinur, Senior Executive Director of Walton Hitech Industries PLC and Vice President of the Federation FM Iqbal Bin Anwar (Don), General Secretary Tabiur Rahman Palawan, Joint General Secretary Mesbah were present on the occasion. Uddin Azad, Ashiqur Rahman Khan Bachchu and member AKM Abdul Mobin and others.
