Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury has warned that there is no exemption for extortionists and land grabbers.
He said, there is no exemption for terrorists, oppressors of people, extortionists and land grabbers. Administration and police have been instructed to maintain peace and order in the country. This government is the government of the common man, the government of every man. We will stand by the people in the future as well.
On the occasion of Eid on Friday, he said these things during the distribution ceremony of sarees and lungis as Eid gifts among about 1200 families of Ward No. 74 of Dhaka South City Corporation.
The Environment Minister said that the government stands by the backward and disadvantaged people. They are being distributed daily necessities including rice, dal, potato, oil, semai, saree, lungi. Leaders and workers of Awami League are engaged in competition for good work. Being with the people is important to them.
Chitta Ranjan Das, Ward No. 5 Councilor of Dhaka South City Corporation, Abul Kalam Azad, the first elected Councilor of Ward No. 74, were present.
