Nth Degree Acquires INVNT as Private Equity Bets on Experiential Consolidation

Nth Degree is expanding beyond its operational roots by acquiring INVNT, known for brand storytelling, to build a fully integrated experiential agency.

The move reflects a broader consolidation trend among creative and production firms. In January, Jack Morton and Impact XM announced plans to merge, creating a global experiential agency with more than 1,000 employees across 20 offices worldwide. That same month, Strata acquired Wonderland Agency, continuing the wave of experiential consolidation. 

The combined entity will operate under the INVNT banner. End-to-end offerings include strategy, creative, content, speaker management, sponsorship sales, production, and on-site operations. Nth Degree’s legacy trade show and exhibition business will continue to operate separately, positioning the parent company as a diversified live events platform.

The deal is backed by Shamrock Capital, which took a strategic stake in Nth Degree in 2024 to support an acquisition-led growth strategy. The investment reflects growing private equity interest in experiential agencies with the scale to serve global brands.

Agencies Become More Integrated

“Clients today are increasingly seeking integrated agency partners that can deliver high-touch service and accountability all the way from strategy and creative to production and operations,” said Kristina McCoobery, global president of INVNT. “Adding the capabilities of Nth Degree Events to INVNT’s suite allows us to address that need.” 

INVNT, founded in 2008, has 11 offices across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, and works with a roster of major global brands. Nth Degree’s events division will be folded into the INVNT brand as part of the integration.

Leadership from both companies will guide the combined agency. INVNT’s senior executives will take roles in the unified operation. Nth Degree’s management team will oversee the wider group, including its trade show and exhibits business.
