Commerce State Minister Ahsanul Islam Titu said, 'Onions from India will arrive by train today or tomorrow. Onions will reach Dhaka in three days. There will be no problem with onions. The market will move at its own pace. The market will be under our monitoring. Necessary action will be taken against anyone hoarding onions.'
He said this in response to questions from journalists at the reception of the elected members of parliament and the meeting of the newly elected committee of the press club at Tangail Press Club on Saturday (March 23) afternoon.
The state minister said that Ramadan has started within two months of the elections. The Prime Minister encouraged traders during the elections to ensure that the country imports enough goods. By observing that place we have been able to ensure the supply of the product. The market will move at its own pace.
Regarding the TCB card, he also said that it was listed during Corona. Then many were displaced. The new list will be re-listed under the leadership of the district administration in collaboration with the public representatives. Preference will be given to lower middle class people and mosque imams. Dealers will be shifted to permanent stores. It will be ensured that the store can store one month of TCB products. If necessary, products will be added to the list of TCB.
