Order to make diesel free to keep mobile network running in Feni: IT Advisor

To keep the mobile network tower running in Feni, the mobile operator has instructed to make diesel free for the generators deployed in the district. Nahid Islam. He gave this instruction at BTRC today Saturday (August 24).

The advisor said, due to lack of electricity, a lot of diesel is needed to keep the 78 mobile network towers of Feni district operational. Currently, it is very important to keep the mobile network towers operational in the flood situation, so he instructed BTRC to provide free diesel required by the generators deployed by the mobile operator in the district to keep 78 mobile network towers operational.

Portable generator (PG) (75 KV) consumes 2.3 liters of diesel per hour and generator (DG) (30 KV) consumes 4.4 liters of diesel per hour. As such, 6552 liters of diesel is used daily in 78 generators which is worth 7 lakh 14 thousand 168 taka and 45 thousand 864 liters in 7 days which is worth 49 lakh 99 thousand 176 taka.

This amount is being paid from the fund of BTRC under the guidance of Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Adviser.
