Ordinary students on hunger strike demanding resignation of Ravi VC

Rabindra University in Shahjadpur, Sirajganj, VC Professor Dr. General students are on hunger strike demanding Shah Azam's resignation. Students started hunger strike at the main gate of Rabindra University administration building from 12:30 noon on Thursday. The students said that they will go on hunger strike until the VC resigns. Students also locked the administrative building.

Meanwhile, after receiving the news of the hunger strike of the students, a group of 5 people including University Assistant Proctor Maynul Islam, Nusrat Disha, Nazrul Islam, Yad Singh Shubo spoke to the hunger striking students and requested them to call off the hunger strike till next Sunday. But the student representatives announced to continue the hunger strike without giving any more time.

When asked, Assistant Proctor Maynul Islam told reporters that they are neutrally monitoring the students' movement. After listening to their demands, inform the university administration. University administration will take action.

Meanwhile, the students claim that in the last parliamentary elections, the VC led the campaign in favor of the boat in the university. After that, the students involved in the anti-discrimination student movement with the name of recruitment trade, looting in the name of complete arbitrariness were punished by the police and Awami cadres. So they announced to continue the hunger strike until the resignation of the VC who was implementing the Awami agenda.
