This week, the University of Oxford, run by Elon Musk's favorite philosopher Nick Bostrom, shut down its operations. This philosopher ran an organization called The Future of Humanity Institute. The firm worked with the long-termism movement as well as several Silicon Valley ideologies such as functional altruism. The company was in operation for 19 years. details
