The northern district of Pabna is burning due to intense heat wave. People's lives have been disrupted. There is no comfort anywhere in the house or outside. People and animals are panting in the heat.
The highest temperature recorded in the district was 41 degrees Celsius around 3 pm on Friday (April 19). Which is the highest in the district this season.
Earlier, the maximum temperature in the district was 39 degree Celsius on Thursday. The previous day was 40.5 degrees Celsius, Tuesday was 39.8 degrees Celsius.
Nazmul Haque, Assistant Meteorological Observer of Ishwardi Meteorological Office said, intense heat wave is blowing over Ishwardi. Besides, the presence of clouds in the sky is low and the amount of water vapor in the air is high, so intense heat is felt. The official also said that there is no possibility of immediate rain.
Mahir Uddin, an auto-rickshaw driver, said, “I have never seen such heat and heat in Bapu's life. Can't go in the sun. It feels like the body is on fire.'
