Palak apologized for the internet disruption

State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak has publicly apologized for the failure to stop disinformation through social media and the disruption of internet services around the ongoing movement across the country based on the quota issue.

On Friday (August 2) afternoon at his residence in Natore, he asked for forgiveness during a discussion meeting, prayer and prayer program organized by Singra Upazila Awami League to commemorate the National Mourning Day.

Palak said, 'If I have done anything wrong to the younger generation, I apologize publicly. I take responsibility for the internet disruption and failure to prevent rumors on social media. I promise to accept any decision of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Palak said, if the leader of the people Sheikh Hasina is not safe, then Bangladesh will not be safe.
