Petrol-octane price reduced by Rs.6

The interim government has decided the new price of fuel in coordination with the world market. In this phase, the price of diesel-kerosene has been reduced by 1.25 paisa and the price of petrol-octane has been reduced by 6 taka.

This information was informed in the press release issued by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Saturday (August 31).

According to the notification, the current selling price of diesel and kerosene at consumer level has been reduced from Tk 106.75 per liter to Tk 105.50 for diesel and Tk 105.50 per liter in the light of the automatic formula in line with the global market.

At the same time, the current price of petrol has been reduced from Tk 127 to Tk 6 to Tk 121 and the price of octane has been reduced from Tk 131 to Tk 6 to Tk 125.

Earlier on June 30, the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources had increased the price of fuel oil. Which is effective from July 1.
