Police gave charge sheet in 106 cases of July uprising
The police have so far filed 106 charge sheets in the court in the cases filed in various parts of the country centered on the student and public uprising in July. Of these, 31 are murder cases and the remaining 75 are in other cases.

The police have so far filed 106 charge sheets in the court in the cases filed in various parts of the country centered on the student and public uprising in July. Of these, 31 are murder cases and the remaining 75 are in other cases.
This information was informed in a press release sent from the police headquarters on Tuesday (December 2).
According to the notification, 31 murder cases have been chargesheeted in Pabna, Sirajganj, Bogra, Dhaka, Narayanganj, Comilla, Chandpur, Feni, Kurigram, Sherpur district and PBI, Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, Chittagong Metropolitan Police and Dhaka Metropolitan Police. 75 other cases in Pabna, Sirajganj, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Naogaon, Bogra, Dhaka, Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Tangail, Kurigram, Lalmonirhat, Sherpur, Jamalpur, Mymensingh, Barguna District and PBI, CID, Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Barisal Metropolitan Police, Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, Chittagong Metropolitan Police and Rangpur Metropolitan Police.
The notification mentioned that senior police officers are monitoring each case to ensure proper investigation of these cases filed against the student uprising. The police is working to bring the culprits to justice by completing the investigation of the other case quickly.
In addition, an interim investigation report has been submitted to the court for a total of 2 thousand 830 people in 437 anti-discrimination cases under Section 173(A) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
