Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi number 32 on the occasion of Independence and National Day.
On Tuesday (March 26) around 7:30 AM, the Prime Minister first paid floral tributes as the head of government at Dhanmondi. After that, Sheikh Hasina, as the party chief, paid her respects along with the leaders and activists.
Earlier, at 5:56 in the morning, the President paid tribute to the National Memorial with flowers. Sahabuddin and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The President first paid his respects at the memorial. Sahabuddin Right after the President, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to the sun children of the nation. Then they stood there in silence for a minute. At this time a group of armed forces gave the state salute and the bugle sounded a mournful tune.
King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan paid his respects with them. Swastrik, he attended the memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs in the first hour.
Later party president Sheikh Hasina paid tribute with flowers on behalf of Awami League as party chief. General Secretary Obaidul Quader along with first rank leaders were present.
