Program to raise the age limit for entry into government jobs to 35

The general students who are seeking employment have announced a continuous sit-in program demanding that the age limit for entry into government jobs be increased to 35 years. Job aspirants announced this at a press conference organized under the banner of 35 aspirant general students at TSC on Friday (August 30) at 5 pm.

They said that after the completion of various programs aimed at realizing the demands, a continuous sit-in program will be held from September 7 onwards.

They also said that currently various programs are being held at each district level to collect the demands. After that, the human bond program will be held simultaneously across the country. The timing of the program will be fixed on Friday (August 31) or September 1 in consultation with all concerned. The general meeting will be held on September 7. If the demand is not accepted in the meantime, we will hold a sit-in program. This program will continue until the demand is met.

35 Aspirants claim, this movement is logical as well as relevant. As a result, a notification should be issued in this regard immediately without delay. We have repeatedly said that if the logical demands are not met, the student society will erupt in anger. Previous governments have found themselves ousted because of a disparity. As a result, any logical movement needs to be implemented quickly without delay.

Speakers in the press conference said that this movement has been going on for 12 years since 2012. It has justification in 162 countries of the world. Apart from this, the work of building a non-discrimination state is currently underway in Bangladesh. But it will not be possible until our demands are met. We have given a memorandum in this regard to the Chief Adviser. We hope that everyone in the current government, including the Chief Advisor, will accept our demands and take them back to the reading table.
